The Creation of the International Criminal Court (1998)

In June 1998, delegates from over 160 nations met in Rome to draft the statute for a new International Criminal Court. Iain Guest, a former journalist, formed The Advocacy Project and recruited a team of information specialists to cover the proceedings for the NGO Coalition for an International Criminal Court (CICC). The team produced a daily newsletter, On The Record, which was sent out by email each night to members of the Coalition and also reprinted for delegates in the NGO daily conference newspaper, Terra Viva. All 24 issues of the online version are reproduced below.
