The Advocacy Project helps marginalized communities to tell their story, claim their rights and produce social change. We recruit graduate students to volunteer as Peace Fellows with partners.

"Speaking with locals and living in a country is the best way to learn about the real lives of citizens, not just the stories in the mainstream media. I will be more critical of what I read as a result of this experience. I also feel even more grateful for my education, and I feel a stronger responsibility to assist others who do not have resources or access to opportunities in their communities."

Become an E-mentor:
As an E-Mentor you are in a unique position to interact with our fellows from the comfort of your home. It’s a rewarding opportunity to support our fellows’ commitment to international service.  For more information view our E-mentor webpage. 		  Fellowships:
AP views Fellows as ambassadors for peace. Most will serve for three months in the field, and provide valuable support for their hosts. Peace Fellows reach out to other cultures and peoples in a spirit of friendship. They also continue to promote the work of their host after they return.
