Employment
The Advocacy Project relies heavily on volunteers. We recruit graduate students to serve abroad in our fellowship program and also recruit interns for the Washington office.
In the summer of 2009, 45 Peace Fellows were deployed in the field. In addition to these field volunteers, 17 interns from eight universities worked at AP throughout the year and made important contributions. In the process, they gained valuable first-hand experience. Volunteering with AP in Washington is also a recognized route to serving as a Peace Fellow in the field.
