A Voice For the Voiceless
The Advocacy Project helps marginalized communities to tell their story, claim their rights and produce social change. We recruit graduate students to volunteer as Peace Fellows with partners.

Jesús Ivoy Sanchez
Jesús Ivoy Sanchez was thirteen when he died in Xococ along with Margarita and Guillermo. He, too, liked to spend time with his grandfather, Guillermo. Jesus and Margarita were cousins as well as best friends and decided to go together to Xococ with Guillermo that day. Weaver Carmen chose to commemorate Jesús because he was her first nephew and they were good friends.
