The eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo is one of the most dangerous places on earth for women. SOS Femmes en Danger (SOSFED) a Congolese NGO, treats victims of sexual violence and helps them to return home. AP has supported SOSFED since 2008, and in 2010 the two partners launched an ambitious program to help women reduce their exposure to rape.
The partners acknowledge with gratitude the support of the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (IFA) in Berlin.
