A Voice For the Voiceless

The Advocacy Project (AP) recruits students to help marginalized communities tell their story and claim their rights.

The Advocacy Project puts partners in touch with supporters abroad, who will lobby for their social justice agenda and for social change in their countries. In the process, we build innovative cross-cultural partnerships. Such outreach is integral to AP’s mission, and takes advantage of AP’s large network. We hope that those who engage in the outreach will themselves become empowered and informed, and we see it as very positive when AP is able to build cross-cultural bridges.

Donate: Support AP's work with our partners by donating to our core projects. Visit the Give page to read more about the different community based organizations AP partners with and give to your favorite cause.


Build the AP Network: AP is developing a constituency of universities, high schools, teachers, diaspora organizations and committed individuals. Email us to find out more how you or your group can help and subscribe to the AdvocacyNet news service.


Organize an Event: Contact AP to help you organize a presentation or event at your community center, university, school, or place of worship. These include: speakers and visiting delegations, Peace Fellows, movies, photos, video footage, and handicrafts. Learn more about Outreach or contact us.


Volunteer: AP recruits graduate students to volunteer in the field with our community-based partners. These Peace Fellows and AP's office interns make meaningful contributions to our work. Apply  to become an Intern or a Peace Fellow.
