- YCC organizes cultural events such as concerts, performances, debates, exhibitions, etc.
- YCC educates young people by hosting courses, seminars, workshops and trainings.
- Following the passage of a Macedonian law on volunteering, YCC is planning a campaign to promote awareness of the new law.
- YCC is helping plan the festivities for Macedonia's participation in the Global Youth Service Day 2008. On the first day, volunteers will take part in various service-learning activities across Macedonia. On the second day, there will be a festival in Skopje to highlight volunteerism in Macedonia.
| Social Change |
- Government Action: A law on volunteering has been passed by the Macedonian government, which includes a definition of volunteering and provides volunteering guidelines. YCC lobbied strongly for the passage of this law and hopes it will encourage more institutions to use volunteers. See Katie Wroblewski's blog titled 'New Law in Macedonia!' and a draft of the law(in Macedonian) for more information.
