Partners

The Advocacy Project is proud to have worked alongside 114 community-based advocacy groups since 1998. We believe strongly that social change can begin in communities and that civil society can be a powerful force for justice – particularly when it is led by people who have been directly affected by the wrongs they are seeking to right. Many of our partner organizations were founded by individuals who emerged from a marginalized community and have experienced discrimination or worse. This gives them credibility and motivation. Visit Vision and History of our Partners for more information about our approach to working with partners, and how it all began. The map below shows all of our past and present partners around the globe. By clicking on the icon in the top left corner next to “The Advocacy Project and Its Organizations,” this will open a sidebar to allow you to select current partners and past partners by topic. Each partner listed, or through location indication on the map, will give you information on years involved with AP, peace fellows deployed and the organization itself. The map can be made larger by pressing the full screen icon on the top right.
