A Voice For the Voiceless
The Advocacy Project helps marginalized communities to tell their story, claim their rights and produce social change. We recruit graduate students to volunteer as Peace Fellows with partners.

UK Travellers and Dale Farm
In September 2002, AP was asked by the Council of Europe to help establish the International Roma Women’s Network (IRWN). Through this, AP was introduced to the UK Association of Gypsy Women and Travellers of the Dale Farm community, in Essex, UK. AP began publishing reports from Dale Farm in 2005.
In the summer of 2007, AP sent Peace Fellow Zach Scott to Dale Farm, where he worked to produce regular bulletins. He also reported on the British government's efforts to evict the Travellers in his blog.
In January 2008, AP Director Iain Guest traveled to Dale Farm and reported on his findings in his blog.
