Coalition for International Justice
The Coalition for International Justice monitors war crimes tribunals in the former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, East Timor, Cambodia, and Sierra Leone. Provides regular updates on court proceedings.
Domovina Net
Site covers developments in the Balkans with an emphasis on Bosnia and Herzegovina. Compiles audio, video and print reports from across former Yugoslavia. Site offers text and RealAudio and RealVideo files, as well as daily live RealAudio coverage from the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia at The Hague. Institute for War and Peace Reporting
Internet news reporting service with a comprehensive section on the Balkans. Contains information on current developments in the Balkans, as well as historical and geographical information about the region.
International Crisis Group
A watchdog organization with long experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ICG regularly critiques the performance of the international community in Bosnia, and examines important issues with insight. Archives contain many useful policy documents on issues from refugee return to corruption in government.

Human Rights and Relief Organizations
Amnesty International Bosnia-Herzegovina Section
Sub-regional site of the prominent human rights organization contains many articles following cases of rights violations in Bosnia. Strong focus on demands for better human rights enforcement and the increased arrest of indicted war criminals.
Bosnian Institute
This UK-based organization promotes the growth of pluralistic democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Site provides news and analysis of current events in Bosnia, as well as in-depth feature articles and background documents.
Community of Bosnia
The Community of Bosnia works for a culturally pluralistic, multi-religious Bosnia. Site contains book list and articles on destruction of cultural heritage in Bosnia. For background on the fall of Srebrenica, click on Srebrenica button.
Center for Balkan Development
Friends of Bosnia is a charity organization with branches in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Projects have included sending food and medical aid to Bosnia, raising awareness about the former Yugoslavia, and helping refugees return home. Site contains information about ongoing relief projects aided by FoB.
The Helsinki Committee for Human Rights
The Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina is an independent, non-governmental and nonprofit organization, founded in 1995. The aim of the Committee is the protection and promotion, as well as monitoring of human rights on entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
International Organization for Migration (IOM)
The IOM is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society. The IOM acts with its partners in the international community to assist in meeting the growing operational challenges of migration management and uphold the human dignity and well-being of migrants. Activities include post-emergency return and reintegration programs and training and capacity-building of officials. The mission has developed programs addressing broader development-related aspects of migration, responding to the need to progressively shift from a humanitarian to a development focused agenda.
Medicins Sans Frontiers Srebrenica Documentation
The French human rights organization Doctors Without Borders presents this collection of reports documenting the investigation of the French Parliament into the Srebrenica massacre and French officials’ role therein. Documents cover testimony of French officials given throughout 2001 and into 2002. French only.
Srebrenica Justice Campaign
This British advocacy group seeks to further the cause of Srebrenican refugees. The organization focuses on public education about Srebrenica. Main issues are exhumation and identification of the victims of the massacre, the return of Srebrenican refugees, and the investigation and thorough prosecution of war crimes committed at Srebrenica. Site contains links to important archival documents, and to English versions of documents from the Werkgroep Nederland Srebrenica.
Werkgroep Nederland Srebrenica
A Dutch organization that coordinates a long-term volunteer presence in Srebrenica. Volunteers with Werkgroep stay in Srebrenica for a minimum of two months and participate in reconstruction and reconciliation projects with the inhabitants of the town and with returnees. The organization works closely with the Srebrenica Justice Campaign. This site is in Dutch. Office of the High Representative (OHR)
The High Representative oversees the implementation of the Bosnian Peace Agreement. Site contains news, press briefings, human rights reports, information on media and economic reconstruction. Archives documents of OHR decisions.
OSCE
Bosnia Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. OSCE is a Europe-wide intergovernmental organization that seeks to manage conflict and promote stability in Europe. Has played a major role in the promotion of democratization human rights, and stabilization of Bosnia.
United Nations Development Programme
Site of the UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Contains information about the organization’s 2002 Srebrenica Regional Recovery Programme, as well as other UNDP projects throughout Bosnia.
UNHCR
Home page of the Bosnia Mission of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Regular updates on property law implementation and refugee return. Includes maps, de-mining information, refugee return statistics.

NIOD (Netherlands Institute for War Documentation) report on Srebrenica
Summary of the April 2002 Dutch report on Srebrenica. To examine its own responsibility for the massacre at Srebrenica, the Dutch government requested this report from NIOD. Describes in depth the background of the enclave Dutch involvement in its protection, and shortcomings of the peacekeeping mission. The Dutch government responded to the publication of this report by resigning.
