The blocks for this quilt were stitched by nine students at the Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia, and describe their experience during the COVID lock-down. Their blocks were assembled into a quilt by Beth Suddaby in Arlington. AP commissioned 212 COVID stories from 12 countries in 2020. Beth was among fourteen quilters who assembled the blocks. Their quilts were widely exhibited and are celebrated in a catalogue that is available from AP.
