Dear Friends,
We introduced you recently to Shield of Faith, an association of twenty women who have launched a green revolution in the informal settlements of Nairobi, Kenya. Almost all are single mothers, and several have children with albinism. Last year they composted 3.9 tons of food waste and grew vegetables in kitchen gardens assembled from recycled materials. This film follows Stella Makena, the founder and coordinator of Shield of Faith, as she visits the team.
