The Bawum Akone Association (BAWFA) works to restore health, hope and dignity to individuals, especially women, who suffer from poverty and violence in Cameroon. BAWFA focuses on the issues of children rights, discrimination, HIV/AIDS, human rights and poverty.

Niger Delta Women's Movement for Peace & Development (NDWPD)
Niger Delta Women's Movement for Peace and Development (NDWPD) campaigns to improve girls' access to and level of education, to sensitize the community to female circumcision, to prevent HIV/AIDS transmission and to increase women's involvement in and impact on society.
