Beliz Aluc (Kenya)
I am Beliz and I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. I am a rising junior at Pomona College majoring in International Relations and minoring in History. I have always been involved with advocacy work in my communities both in the U.S. and in Turkey. Especially in Turkey, I have been part of so many organizations that help Syrian refugees to settle in Turkey. My experience with Syrian refugees changed my perspective on global issues and what got me into international relations. I am really excited to work with the Advocacy Project and offer my knowledge and perspective to my partner organization.
