The Women’s Affairs Technical Committee (WATC) in Ramallah, Palestine launched a book called “Northern Sanabel” which documents the experience of twelve women who were provided training in order to fight for their rights more effectively. Sanabel is the name of WATC’s project to empower rural women through training in areas such as leadership skills, conflict resolution and networking, among other things.
