Amy Offner (Survivor Corps in Colombia): Amy received her BA magna cum laude in history from Harvard University in 2001. As a college student, she served as an organizer of the Harvard Living Wage Campaign. She then worked as a union organizer, and an editor at Dollars & Sense magazine. At the time of her fellowship, Amy was working towards a doctorate in history at Columbia University, where she studied economic thought and social policy in the United States and Colombia during the Cold War. She also taught US and Latin American history, and has written popular and academic articles on labor in the United States.
