Just wanted to get this video posted up. It’s a visit to Bagmusa, the Dalit cobbler community that was the subject of my last blog post. On our last visit to Bagmusa, Shahed and I conducted a brief interview with Tulsi, one of the teachers at the school, who is also from the community. She was a bit nervous but happy to help us. At the risk of making excuses for poor quality work, I had some issues with my video editing software and this didn’t come out quite the way I wanted. I wanted to get it up though, and I am planning to redo a few of the videos and put together a longer video documenting Subornogram’s work when I get back to NYC and have access to better software. My fellowship is pretty much over now but I still have some photos to share and I still want to add videos as I can get them completed. I’m finishing up my final blog post and will get that up as soon as possible. Thanks for watching and thank you for your support.
Also, I uploaded a set of new photos from some visits Shahed and I had with local folk artists that he supports.
