Safe Haven Can’t Protect Peasants from Ignorance

African peasants that have migrated to Kampala, Uganda to escape poverty, danger and discrimination still cannot overcome one stigma attached to them: the perceived curse of their indigenous roots. It is this ignorance that presents the biggest challenge to migrants hoping to better their lives in a new place.
