Summer Camp Encourages Social Inclusion in Jordan

Every summer, Survivor Corps Jordan (formerly the Landmine Survivors Network) organizes a summer camp where survivors from across the country can interact with children from a private high school in Amman. Together, the children participate in a community service project aimed at facilitating community and social engagement. Although the children were initially hesitant to intermingle, by the end friendships had formed between disabled children, like the girl on the right, and others from the school in Amman, like the girl on the left.
