Leo Horton

Leo Horton is a rising junior at Wesleyan University. He is studying government, focusing on populist political movements. He runs a nonprofit, Beats4Justice, dedicated to creating youth empowerment through music in under-resourced communities. He’s worked with groups of children in Jackson, MS, teaching songwriting, beatmaking and promotional skills. Last summer, he interned with the Community Affairs division of Turner Construction, supporting work to create opportunities for MWBE contractors (Minority + Women Owned Businesses) & community members to participate in construction projects around NYC. This summer, he is excited to support survivor-led transitional justice in Kathmandu, Nepal with the Center for Human Rights and Victims of Violations (CHRV).
