Joe Finkelstein

Joe Finkelstein is a rising junior at Wesleyan University, where he is studying Government and Psychology with a minor in Human Rights Advocacy. He orients his studies toward his academic interests in green political economy and the human challenges of climate displacement. Last summer, Joe spent time as a social media and communications intern for the Courage Network, a nonprofit organization geared towards highlighting examples of everyday courage in the face of autocracy. This summer, Joe is thrilled to learn from and advance the survivor-led transitional justice movement with the Center for Human Rights and Victims of Violations (CHRV) in Kathmandu, Nepal.
