Ana Torres

Ana María received her law degree in 2017 from Universidad Santo Tomás de Colombia. She is a specialist in Mining and Energy Law and Master in State Law with an Emphasis in Public Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia. Her experience has been in the public sector where she worked at the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia in the Office of Environmental and Social Affairs. Likewise, she has worked in the private sector where she served as Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator at Frontera Energy. Currently, Ana María is studying a Master's in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University in Washington DC and will undertake a peace fellowship in Vietnam with survivors of conflict through the Association for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (APED).
